Growing interest and enthusiasm amongst audiences of all ages to attend morning concerts led Pancham Nishad & Prithvi Theatre both active in promoting and developing the performing arts to come together to present Udayswar@Prithvi, a concert of morning ragas of the second prahar. Held on every 3rd Sunday of the month this concert series features various vocal & Instrumental artistes.
The intimacy and excellent acoustics of Prithvi Theatre offers an unadulterated exchange of music between the artiste and the audience making it a refreshing and rejuvenating experience unlike any other in today’s age of microphones and amplification.

Born in a musical family, Feinberg grew up in Lawrence, on Long Island, just outside New York City. He was introduced to music through classical piano when four years old and the bass violin when he was eight. “At 12, he knew he wanted to be a professional musician and often practiced music for up to 12 hours a day. In the next two years, he began to enjoy the improvisation in jazz and took to learning jazz drums. His teacher Dan Weiss was the first to introduce him to Indian classical music.” He adds that the music of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Pt Nikhil Banerjee made a strong impression on him.
Josh Feinberg is the best-kept secret of the Hindustani music scene. Known and loved by top musicians and music lovers, he represents the future of sitar and the growing diversity of the Hindustani music field. He began his musical training at four years old with piano and western classical jazz bass in New York City, studying with some of the most accomplished musicians on the scene. He was hailed as a prodigy performing in jazz venues and concert halls across the New York area. In his teens, Josh became enamored with the music of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Pandit Nikhil Banerjee, and shifted his focus to sitar and Hindustani music.
