MUMBAI: The launch of Big FM’S Benadryl Big Golden Voice Season 4 witnessed a thundering response from the most remote parts of the country, as the nationwide talent hunt yet again unearthed some truly unique voices. The journey to discover this year’s golden voice, with the charming playback singer Armaan Malik and debonair music composer Amaal Mallik, has now reached its final leg. Big FM is leaving no stone unturned to make the grand finale a memorable one for its listeners and fans. The finale event will see the grandeur levels hit the roof with special performances from some of the most popular faces in Bollywood. The gala assemblage will take place at Ravindra Natya Mandirin, Mumbai on 30 August which will be telecasted on Big Magic as well.
This year, audiences will get to experience more than just the thrill associated with a finale event. All the top five contestants will raise the energy levels of the night with their special performances by keeping the competitive fire burning. Judges Armaan and Amaal will join the finalists by singing some of their most loved numbers. Popular actress and model, Sophie Chaudhary promises to mesmerize the spectators with her ravishing and enigmatic performance on stage. The most lovable Anu Malik will infuse energy in his inimitable style singing some of his compositions. India’s ‘Pyjama Popstar’, Shirlay Setia will dazzle the audience with her sweet voice.
Actor and RJ Annu Kapoor who has won many hearts with his spellbinding performances and soothing voice, will be honoured for the successful three years completion of the show Suhaana Safar with RJ Annu Kapoor that he helms on Big FM. As a warm gesture, Big FM will also honour India’s singing gems Roop Kumar Rathod and Sunali Rathod by acknowledging them as India’s ‘Everlasting Big Golden Voice – Music Jodi’ for their towering contribution to Indian music industry. Soulful voice of India, Ila Arunwill be crowned as ‘Everlasting Big Golden Voice – Folk’ while Shirley Setia will be awarded India’s ‘Big Golden Voice- Digital Sensation’. Last but not the least, the award for ‘Everlasting Big Golden Voice’ will be presented to classic singer Suresh Wadkar. Not only this, top 10 finalists will also come together to sing the Benadryl BIG Golden Voice anthem.

Big FM will also provide fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the grand finale live and cheer for their favorite contestants through the on-air contest. The contest which kicked off from 18 August will announce 25 winners every day and a total of 350 lucky winners will win passes for the finale event. The finale will be hosted by Big Memsaab’s anchors Ankit Bhatla and adorable Nihar Gite along with the co-host RJ Dhanveer.
On his maiden experience as a reality show judge, Amaal Malik said, “Reflecting on what has been an enchanting journey; I’ve realized that judging a talent hunt of this scale brings out the best in you as a performing artist. While the chance to mentor the participants this year was a humbling experience, to judge such talented voices from every corner of India was a huge challenge.
