MUMBAI: BIG FM’s Bangalore station announced the launch of ‘Retro Talkies’, a first-of-its-kind music show that caters to listeners with handpicked and much-loved Kannada retro tracks, all composed by some of the most outstanding music directors of the industry. Charming listeners each afternoon between 2 and 5 pm, Retro Talkies will be hosted by Sihi Kahi Chandru and Sihi Kahi Geetha, one of the most well-known television and movie couples of Sandalwood.
The show’s music will be accompanied by rare and detailed information about musical maestros and yesteryear superstars such as Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Anant Nag and Shankar Nag. The hosts, known for their brilliant onscreen chemistry, will enthrall listeners on the airwaves and make afternoons both exciting and rejuvenating.
Retro Talkies is a breakthrough in that it will build bridges between listeners, sandalwood filmmakers and superstars by broadcasting exclusive sessions describing their journey in the industry and giving listeners deep insight into their successful and glamorous lives.
