MUMBAI: BIG FM recently launched Pond’s iconic jingle ‘Googly Woogly Wooksh’ as a song, exclusively across its 12 stations, in Hindi and Bengali. Designed by BIG FM and Fulcrum, Group M Mumbai; this is the first time that the jingle has been revamped, although the song is a rendition, it will not replace the original.
Written by Swanand Kirkire, composed by Jeet Ganguly and sung by Monali Thakur, the song is sure to take one down the memory lane. ‘Googly Woogly Wooksh’ carries a new tune, an altogether new voice and revamped lyrics yet maintaining the nostalgia attached to the jingle. The exclusive radio launch took place recently with Monali Thakur, the voice behind the jingle only on BIG FM.
The idea behind the campaign and the new song is to communicate the cute ‘Googly Woogly Wooksh’ moments among a family, between mothers, daughters, friends and married couples. The team that designed the campaign and created the song blended well with each other leading to a grand success and a good reach.

Speaking on the launch of the song, a spokesperson from BIG FM said, “It gives us great pleasure to launch the iconic Pond’s jingle as a song across our 12 stations. Speaking about the concept and its association with BIG FM, a spokesperson from Pond’s said, “The ‘Googly Woogly Wooksh’ jingle had created a rhythm in the hearts of many. Hence, without playing much with its theme and keeping up with the nostalgia that connected the consumer to the Pond’s moisturizing cream, we came up with a revamped jingle. The idea behind adding a new voice and revamping the jingle is to keep up with the changing trends while maintaining the traditional roots that add to the nostalgia.”
