MUMBAI: The BBC Radio 2 Book Club has secured the first UK radio interview with Robert Galbraith, the pseudonym for the global bestselling author J.K. Rowling, scheduled to broadcast on Simon Mayo’s Drivetime Show on Monday 2 November (5-7pm).
Author of the Harry Potter series and The Casual Vacancy, JK Rowling will be talking about Career Of Evil, the third book in the highly acclaimed Cormoran Strike crime fiction series, published today (October 20). The Cuckoo’s Calling was published in 2013 and The Silkworm in 2014.
As well as discussing Career Of Evil – the Radio 2 Book Club choice – and the inspiration for the novel, the author will talk to Simon Mayo about why she has chosen to write crime fiction and under the pseudonym of Robert Galbraith, and about the story of how his true identity was broken.

Simon will also read out reviews to Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) from five lucky Radio 2 listeners who applied to be Book Club reviewers.
