MUMBAI: One qawwali, one bhajan will bring two communities together in this new qawwali song ‘Ya Ali Murtaza’ from ‘Freaky Ali’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amy Jackson, Arbaaz Khan.
It is a unique idea by the makers of the film to merge the bhajan and qawwali together. To put in a qawwali in the film was actually suggested by Salim Khan.
Film’s music is composed by Sajid-Wajid and the qawwali ‘Ya Ali Murtuza’ is sung by Wajid, Danish Sabri and Payal Dev.
