About Ska Vengers:
The Ska Vengers is a new Delhi based band who blend ‘ska’ rythms with elements of dub, punk, jazz and rap to come up form of music that is refreshingly different, energetic and highly danceable.
Most of the crew members are from Britain and India. Their songs are largely influenced by Jamaican and Latin. It often uses references from Indian Politics.
And in this matter, there are just a few bands in the country as well versed on balancing act of making political music enjoyable and accessible as The Ska Vengers.
About XX:
Pronounced Double Cross, XX has been three years in the making. It follows the evolution of the story of the band, as much as their music. The album has 9 tracks and will be available at all gigs, along with T-shirts, button badges and stickers.
XX uses clever, contextual and defiant lyrics with a pinch of cheeky humour. It often uses references from politically charged and left leaning. The Ska Vengers know that they are musicians first and foremost. Thus, they never for a second sacrifice the quality of music for the sake of stating an opinion.
