Konarak Reddy:
Renowned Bangalore guitarist Konarak Reddy will perform a solo concert at the BFlat Bar, Indiranagar on Saturday, July 16th, 2016.
Konarak has been invited to headline the Canadian Guitar Festival 2016 and will follow this with a series of solo concerts in New York and San Francisco. He will simultaneously release his transcription from piano to guitar of Handel’s Presto Suite No. 3 in D Minor. This piece has never been transcribed for guitar before which makes this an important first for Bangalore and the world of music.
As a curtain raiser of his Canada and North America tour, he will be playing an intimate gig for family, friends and lovers of music at BFlat. Expect an evening of sublime guitar compositions and improvisation. Expect a very chilled out, relaxed evening of no hype; just some beautiful guitar playing.
Gibson is supporting Konarak and he will be playing a Gibson Hummingbird guitar for the tour.
