8 Prahar – A Day Long Concert of Indian Classical Music

8 PRAHAR is a project jointly initiated by Art and Artistes and Pancham Nishad. The event is scheduled to present performances from 6.30 a.m. on 11th November 2017 up to 3 a.m. of the next day with well-known artistes performing the Ragas of the respective ‘Prahar’.The full-day event is split into eight prahars of two hours each featuring two artistes per prahar except the third prahar which will be a solo performance by Padma Vibhushan Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj. This event is conceived by Durga Jasraj.
