MUMBAI: Stories and rumours of Yo Yo Honey Singh being in rehab have finally been put to rest after the rapper released his latest track. Yes! Once again the rapper grabbed headlines, and even became a trending topic after the song was released. While Yo Yo is famous for singing about alcohol and objectifying women, this time he takes it one step further. In his latest song, ‘Birthday Bash’ from the film ‘Dilliwali Zalim Girlfriend’, Yo Yo sings about doing ‘Hash’ and even goes as far as using the slang ‘What the F**k’.
The peppy number is a collaboration between Yo Yo and Alfaaz. This time, for a change, the song is written by Alfaaz, who unfortunately, does not know the correct use of ‘Alfaaz’. The song is a comic take on a relationship between a girl and a guy. In the video, Yo Yo dons a black avatar with a silver chain and red shoes.
Yo Yo and Alfaaz take a dig at the girl, claiming that she celebrates her birthday four times a year, while someone else foots the expense. Despite the expensive gifts from luxury brands, the girl throws a tantrum saying she has disliked the gift. Setting the mood for the evening, she goes off to bed early. Pheww!! Now that’s a typical Yo Yo Honey Singh song. Nevertheless, the song is a treat to Yo Yo fans, who have patiently waited for him to release the next club anthem.
