MUMBAI: Big FM Mumbai has planned month long activity along with a special time band â€?Yaadon Mein Pancham’ (from Monday to Friday at 9-11pm), to commemorate the death anniversary of musical legend RD Burman.
The radio station hosted a musical event by versatile singer Neeraj Shridhar yesterday, the day of singer’s death anniversary.

Starting today, a branded bus will run across the city with interesting RD Burman memoribelia including Pancham Da’s pictures, old LP’s, Cassettes, life- size posters and a music system playing his unforgettable compositions. The bus will route towards RD Burman’s residence, studio, favorite spot at Juhu Beach, Marine Drive, favourite restaurants etc. The radio station has also tied up with RD Burman Orchestra Events, and together will be presenting live shows across the city.
On-air, the station will have discussions with the fans, celebrities and musicians who have worked with Pancham da or were influenced by his talent, sharing their experiences and anecdotes about dada. Online, RD Burman community will be created which will be linked to the station’s FB Page.
