MUMBAI: Indian hip hop collective Wild Wild Women will be releasing their new single ‘Living Waves’ next Saturday, 29th April 2023. The single features rappers JQueen, HashtagPreeti and Pratika, with music produced by Pratika.
Living Waves talks about journeying through life, going with the ebb and flow and tuning into the finer complexities of existence, finding beauty in the life we’re living. Bonding with the feel of summer, this tune rolls out just when the sun is high up in the sky, the beaches are welcoming, snow peaks slowly warm and water begins its descent from cold Himalayan mountaintops.
This feel-good single came about as the artists were exploring rap over different sounds, and ended up working on something more dance-music oriented. You can listen to this song at a live show, or even at a club during a DJ set.
