MUMBAI: Composer-singer duo Manmeet and Harmeet Singh, popularly known as Meet Bros, spoke out recently about their rendezvous with Tiger Shroff and how the single ‘Befikra’ was created.
“Today’s youth are courageous in this day and age and we made the song keeping them only. Befikra is always anyone can relate to,” said Manmeet.
When we were composing songs for ‘Baaghi’, (‘Cham Cham’ and ‘Girl I Need You’), we used to jam when we are at our leisure time. We made the song just like that along with some groove, beats, and melody during that time. We had the mukhra ready and Kumaar wrote the beautiful lyrics. This is one song that was saved in our songs bank,” said Harmeet.

“Bhushanji heard the song during that time, but the idea of doing a single got delayed as we were composing for ‘Baaghi’ and Tiger was busy shooting. One day Bhushanji called and told us that Tiger loved the song and he wants to do a single on this. We worked really hard. Tiger practiced more than 25 days before going for the shoot. And, the result came out really well and we were in high spirits as the song was well accepted,” added Manmeet.
‘Befikra’ was released on 28 June 2016 featuring Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani on T-series. The song was composed by Meet Bros, penned by Kumaar and sung by Meet Bros and Aditi Singh Sharma.
