MUMBAI: 102 Not Out, the movie was a blend of a zillion emotions, that was expressed by its story and music. The music that essayed an important role was composed by Salim and Sulaiman Merchant.
After composing Bache Ki Jaan, Kulfi the duo had proffered music for Kuch Anokhe Rules. They also went on to feature in the song video. “We wanted to make a video of this track. One would get a glimpse of our studio in the song, as we were comfortable shooting in our studio. But for this song, we thought of doing something different. We got some wigs, moustache, and did something easy and a little more fun. You would see us dancing with some props,” shared Sulaiman Merchant.

Salim adds, “The track kicks in when (Amitabh) Bachchan sahib puts forth some rules for his son. The song has such an easy breezy old world charm, sung by Armaan Malik. He was the right choice for this song and his vocals have a good versatile quality. When we conceived the song we really felt that we were back in time thinking about some old melodies.”
