MUMBAI: Music composer duo Sachet-Parampara, who have been making headlines owing to their heartfelt music composition for the latest Bollywood hit Kabir Singh, claim of being the only male-female music composer duo in Bollywood.
Sachet Tandon and Parampara are winners of the music reality show, The Voice.
On being asked, what brought them together as a team, Sachet-Parampara, revealed, “It was about three-four months after winning the reality show, The Voice when I called up Parampara and we started jamming together. Also, apart from being good friends, we both wanted to compose music and wrote songs also. This, therefore, lead to our team – Sachet-Parampara.”

“There are a lot of conflicts during the process of creating music, sometimes our views meet while sometimes they don’t. One has to bend and women are used to winning, you know,” they shared on their creative rapport.
The duo, who is gaining a strong foothold in Bollywood music, prefers this genre over non-commercial.
On being asked if they get the liberty to experiment and explore when it comes to creating music for Bollywood, the duo exclaimed, “Sometimes yes, we do get and sometimes, we do not. But, if you work according to the situation of a film then your creation will be quite different. This is the difference between composing for a single and that for a Bollywood film.”
Lastly, Sachet-Parampara revealed about putting their independent songs on hold for their Bollywood film music projects.
