MUMBAI: Radio City national sales head (franchisee sales) Vikram Singh is leaving the organisation after an eight and half year stint to start his own radio consulting firm.
Singh, whose last working day at Radio City Bangalore is 30 April, says his new venture will specialise in media planning, market testing and strategic business development for radio stations.
Christened Consult Aqua, the venture will specalise in multiplying the brand quotient for radio, but is also planning to have separate verticals for creative and press meter releases. Singh plans to team up with another former Radio City executive Darius Sunawala to build the creative side of the new venture. Sunawala, who started as an RJ at Radio City Bangalore, has also done a stint with Fever as its programme director in Bangalore.
Singh, who was the zonal sales head for Radio City south, has been heading the national franchisee sales team for the last one year and says he will be teaming up with other like minded radio professionals to build Consult Aqua, which will be headquartered in Bangalore.
“I have always believed in opportunities and I think this is the right time to take up the challenge,” he says.
