MUMBAI: After Golden Globe, Grammys and Brit Awards Vh1 India is back with live broadcast of the Video Music Awards 2012 to be aired on 7 September at 5.30 am with repeat on 8 pm.
It will be for the first time that VMA’s which are hosted by renowned actor and stand-up comedian, Kevin Hart will be held at Staples Centre. The awards will witness performances by renowned artistes and bands such as Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Green Day amongst others.
The channel will also initiate a social networking activity relating to awards on its official facebook and twitter pages. The facebook page will give a chance to their viewers to vote for the nominee they ‘think’ should win while the twitter page will create special #tag – #VMAsWithVh1.
