Vh1 to air Golden Globe Awards

MUMBAI: As the awards season commences with the first month of the year, Vh1 is all set to present the live coverage of the coveted 70th Golden Globe Awards on 14 January at 6:30am with a prime time repeat at 9pm.

To be hosted by previous winner Tina Fey and nominee Amy Poehler, the stage will witness the finest in Hollywood being awarded for their contribution to the industry. Leading nominees in music include British pop sensation Adele, American pop-country singer Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi.

Leading actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Lange and Clive Owen amongst many others will be presenting the star-studded Golden Globe Awards to the respective winners. Actor, director and producer Jodie Foster will be honoured with the ‘Cecil B De Mille’ for lifetime achievement at the ceremony.

The Golden Globe Awards is an accolade bestowed by 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign in 25 categories – 14 in motion pictures and 11 in television.
