MUMBAI: After hosting major music events in the country, Vh1 will now air coveted 2012 MTV Movie Awards on 5 June at 8pm.
Hosted by singer Russell Brand, the awards witnessed performances by alternate rock band Fun, Janelle Monae, Johnny Depp, MC group Wiz Khalifa, The Black Keys and American rock duo Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney.
The show was graced by celebrities like Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester,Adam Sandler, Andrew Garfield, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart, Mark Wahlberg, Michael Fassbender and Mila Kunis.
The channel will broadcast the awards night including the red-carpet.
