MUMBAI: Universal Music has signed television personality Aditya Narayan as its exclusive artiste to launch his debut album early next year.
Aditya, who has also signed up for lead roles in some feature films, is a trained singer since childhood. Son of veteran singer Udit Narayan, Aditya is believed to be also composing for his upcoming album.
As anchor of the reality show, SaReGaMaPa on Zee, Aditya currently enjoys the distinction of being one of the youngest anchors on Indian television.

Aditya says,… My first self titled album was released by Universal some 12 years ago when I was nine years old. For me, singing is a passion and I wanted to work with a label which identified with my perspective and aspirations. After meeting them a few times, I thought Universal was just the right label for me….
Aditya started his music career at the age of five. He has just completed a diploma in English Contemporary Music from London and earlier learnt Indian classical music from Pandit Satyanarayan Mishra. He also trained under Kalyanji Anandji.
Aditya made his debut in playback singing with Asha Bhosle in 1995 in the blockbuster movie â€?Rangeela’ which initially brought him to fame with the Indian audience. He later went on to act in films like â€?Pardes’ and â€?Jab Pyar Kissi Se Hota Hai’ as a child artist.
Aditya has won the Best Child Playback Singer award for the movie Masoom….
