MUMBAI: Members of Irish rock band U2, who were forced to postpone their residency on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ after frontman Bono had a cycling accident, are going to visit host Jimmy Fallon and perform on Friday.
U2 was supposed to have a week-long residency on the late-night program back in November in support of their surprise album ‘Songs of Innocence’. They, however, decided to delay it as Bono needed to undergo a surgery to repair the arm he injured in the accident that occurred in New York, reports aceshowbiz.com.
More than five months following the incident, his injured arm has not fully healed. Earlier the 54-year-old musician revealed that he still could not bend two of his fingers and subsequently could not play the guitar.

“It feels like I have somebody else’s hand. I can’t bend these (fingers), and this is like rigor mortis,” he said.
Until now, U2 is the only ‘Tonight Show’ guest that has been announced for 8 May.
