MUMBAI: Digital music distribution and music publishing administration company- TuneCore and independent label Services Company- Believe Digital have announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership.
As per the agreement, Believe Digital will provide TuneCore artists with an opportunity to avail of Believe Digital’s global services, providing the “DIY record label experience with ground support across the globe.” TuneCore artists will have access to a wider digital distribution network and will in turn increase the opportunities to get more music heard by more people in more locations.
Till date, TuneCore has helped independent artists earn over $504 million, stated the note issued by both companies. It further stated that both companies will continue to provide artists with high quality products and growth opportunities, while musicians continue to maintain control and ownership of their work. The two companies will retain their own operations and staffing.
