MUMBAI: After participating for numerous reality shows like, singer Toshi Sabri has finally started recording for his debut album. The music for the album has been composed by his brother Sharid Sabri, who also marks his debut in the pop scenario with this venture.
Toshi is yet to finalise a name for the album but has already finished recording for four tracks. The as yet untitled album will have six originals and one remix which would be decided by the music label. The album is likely to be launched by Eros music.
Talking about the album, Toshi says, I and my brother were searching for a good composer for our album but, finally we decided that we sing and compose for our own album. I am interested in doing a lot of good work and my album won’t be limited to a single genre….

The lyrics of the album have been penned by Sameer, Shahid Kadri and others. The singer has tried to give the whole album a Punjabi feel as he is fond of Punjabi songs. The track â€?Saajan’, a romantic number with some element of Sufi flavour in it, has already been recorded.
My listeners have always loved me when I have sung sufi for them. This song has a good element of Sufi to please my listeners with this track,… says Toshi.
The singer considers his six year old sister as his lucky mascot. So, he plans to release his forthcoming album on 14 January, her birthday.
The artist is busy doing live and stage performances India and abroad. He does not intend to get into any more reality show until he has kept his promise that he had made to his audience while leaving the stage of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar. Toshi has been a part of Voice of India, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar and Ustaadon Ke Ustaad. Lately , the singer got an offer from Big Boss the reality show of Colors but, refused it preferring to make it big in the music industry.
