MUMBAI: Spreading the cheer this June, leading short video app MX TakaTak is celebrating Father’s Day, International Yoga Day and World Music Day on the platform – fostering the feeling of love, overall well-being and harmony for its users. Packed with fun-filled challenges for all three occasions along with a special LIVE musical performance, the platform is abuzz with activity until 21st June.
MX TakaTak’s #MySuperdad aims at cherishing our fathers and their constant support in our lives. This hashtag challenge invites users to share their appreciation for their superheroes as well as commemorates the spirit of fatherhood in the community – through clips of their gestures, hidden talents, forgotten stories or just an act of love to thank them for all that they do.
To celebrate International Yoga Day, MX TakaTak is promoting physical and mental well-being, especially at a time when the world is mired in a public health crisis. MX TakaTak’s #YogaSeTakaTak campaign would see extended participation from the community through multiple challenges for viewers. Honouring the age-old practice of yoga that originated in the country, fitness influencers like Gokul Ram, Urmi Pandya and Vipin Yadav join this initiative to share yoga postures for people to perform while sitting at home/working/etc.

The platform is also orchestrating a fun challenge by giving the timeless game of Musical Chair a fun twist! All a creator has to do is to grab a chair, sit on it, select a song of their choice and voila, you’ve entered the #MyMusicalChair challenge wherein you must perform (sing, dance, recreate a scene, lip-sync with expressions, etc) while seated on the chair with the audio on.
