MUMBAI: ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, written and directed by Karan Johar swept the music awards category at the recently held 23rd Star Screen Awards 2016 on 4 December 2016, Sunday.
With multiple blockbuster films music being nominated in the same space, it was the music of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ that easily dominated the category.
Multi-talented Pritam won Best Music for the film while lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya won Best Lyrics for the song? ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. While ‘Bulleya’ that stole peoples heart instantly on its release with a voice that was loved by all got Amit Mishra to win Best Playback Singer (Male).
