MUMBAI: DJ Nucleya, who recently debuted as a judge on The Remix has opened up about his connection with the show’s contestants. Famous for his live performances on the tunes of his electronic creations, the Baas Rani fame singer loves to guide the contestants on musical creations and sound mixing.
Voicing his opinion on the Amazon Original, Nucleya said, “Talent in India often goes undiscovered due to lack of opportunities and the right platforms. With a show like The Remix on Amazon Prime Video, one of the biggest OTT services in India, I am glad there are more conversations on sound mixing and stories from behind the console. Through the filming of the show and even after, I have been in touch with many of the contestants, who call me up for feedback. I act as their sounding board, giving them advice. I am really happy to mentor some of these amazing and talented music producers in the country. This is my first time playing a judge on any reality show and I am proud to be associated with The Remix.”
Boasting of being India’s first digital music reality show, The Remix has managed to strike a chord with the audience for its quintessential musical creations. It is for the first time that the globally popular concept, aka ‘Remix’ has entered India’s digital space to grab the audience attention online. The tunes crooned on Amazon Prime Video’s this show have put up a spectacular musical fanfare for the online crowd to rejoice. Besides, Amazon Original has also lived by the mantra of the show and kept it drama free.

Going by the format of the show, The Remix consists of 10 teams, each having a music producer and a singer. In each of the total 10 episodes, the teams will enter into a musical war by creating their own musical compositions. As of now, six episodes of this weekly show have been aired, while the seventh goes live this Friday. The popularity of the show is escalating with time.
