MUMBAI: TAA Music Label released its 2nd EP with all originals by artists who have for long been deprived of recognition and opportunity despite their amazing talent. The Label turned their dreams into reality by creating and releasing their original songs on major streaming platforms. The 2nd EP has 4 very different and vibrant songs- Cutting Chai, Doobi, Nain Nasheele, and Maula. These dynamic compositions are an amalgamation of different genres that are sung by some very talented but unknown names in the music world.

Speaking on the launch, Aanchal Shrivastava, Co-Founder, TAA Music Label said, “In the quest to discover hidden, unheard, unattended and rejected talent and providing them a platform to showcase their voice, the EP has been produced. It is an amazing collection of original songs, where we have been able to create music that will capture your hearts forever. We at TAA strongly believe that money constraints or the lack of resources must never be a hindrance in showcasing true talent and so while we give all the production and monetary support to these artists, we are aiming to build a network where real talent gets the chance to grow big, no matter what!”
The music pieces sung by Aanchal Shrivastava, Madhav Raut, Athar Hussain Khan and Deepak Rankawat, went robust on all streaming platforms like Spotify, Saavn, Gaana, iTune. The TAA Music Vol.2 EP will invigorate people to celebrate the different genres of music like Sufi, Contemporary and peppy music, while enjoying the flair from different artists.
The very first song of the EP is dedicated to all chai lovers. Cutting Chai, sung by Aanchal and the music production is done by Indian Idol Fame- Amit Sawant. The song shows how a lover/husband woos his better half with Cutting Chai and is a story of many like Aanchal herself. The composition of this song has an interesting story. Amit Sawant happens to be a very dear friend of Aanchal and while she sung the song to him over phone, he instantly said “I would love to produce it for you”. And in no time Aanchal drove to his studio and they started working on the song. Sharing her experience about the song, Aanchal said, “Amit loved the song and the composition so much that despite me asking him multiple times to try new composition, he insisted on the same. This song is written in just some hours. I literally sat beside him and wrote the para. The Rap artist in the song is super new – Anurag, a very promising young boy. He was so excited for the rap that, he wrote about 5 demos for the rap and finally we were ready. Cutting chai is my love for Chai as I am a big-time chai person and Cutting is a very famous Mumbai style of chai. I wanted to make a song, showcasing the love over Cutting.”
For all those that love semi classical style of music, Doobi is the song that will surely be on repeat on their playlist. This song is also special as it is Madhav’s first original ever. Madhav Raut is an inspiration to all, despite losing his parents at a very young age, he never gave up on life. It was Aanchal’s younger brother Lakshya, who introduced Madhav to her. While Madhav lacks in a few areas and still needs training and guidance, his passion to learn and his honesty towards fulfilling his parent’s dreams, is what made Aanchal interested in signing him as TAA Music Label’s artist. Doobi is exactly his style and his dedication reflect in the song. The song is semi-classical in style, infused with electronic music to bring the contemporary flavor.
The Electro Groovy number of TAA Music Vol.2 – Nain Nasheele is a song that will make you chirpy and happy pumping up your mood through its Hindi and Punjabi Lyrics. This ecstatic melody has been sung by TAA Music Label’s artist Deepak Rankawat, written by Aanchal Shrivastava and is composed by the duo together. Deepak got a breakthrough amidst his struggle, when the Label recognized his talent and brought him on board. Deepak comes from a humble background and belongs to Rajasthan. He had been struggling in Mumbai for over 6 years, when Aanchal met him for the first time, 5 years ago. Aanchal who has always been looking to further good talent, immediately got Deepak in, as soon as TAA formed and made him the Label’s very first artist. Ever since then Deepak has not had a day without work or motivation.
The last song of the EP is a Sufi number- Maula sung by the Label’s recognized Sufi singer Athar Hussain Khan and the music is produced by Bunty Junior. Athar is a discovery of TAA Label’s Founder Late Ashish Saxena who left the team a gift in the form of his voice and dedication. Athar is a Delhi based artist and a renowned Tabla player. He is very well known in the industry as a Table player and plays with almost all big artists, all the way travelling across the world for international Tabla solo projects. He always had a dream to sing, but all his efforts went in vain, due to some or the other reason. That is when he met Late Ashish Saxena in a musical event in Delhi and in no time his Sufi and Ghazal voice became a part of the Label.
With these four vibrant music creations going live on all the streaming platforms, the creators are aiming to spread a wave of promoting real artists with sheer talent across the nation.
