MUMBAI: T-Series is all geared up to promote its next big launch, â€?Karzzz’.
T-Series president – marketing media publishing (TV) Vinod Bhanushali avers, We have released three songs of the movie in a single week. We are promoting the songs extensively on all GECs as well as news channels. The songs released, ‘Lut Jaaon’, ‘Tandoori Nights’ and ‘Hari Om’ represent different genres and give the listeners a taste of the album’s essence….
Bhanushali says that composer actor Himesh Reshammiya is the soul and USP of the album and during the first week itself, the music has been well received in the retail and wholesale markets.
The label had exclusively tied up with Radio Mirchi for a fortnight and the songs were aired only on that radio station. From the coming week, the songs will be aired across all the radio stations. Apart from the music trailers on various news, GEC and music channels, the songs are being showcased for 3 ? minutes on 9Xm from Thursday.
For promoting digital downloads, T-Series has started a campaign across all mediums, â€?TV se nikal, mobile mein dal’ with codes for mobile downloads displayed on TV screens. The campaign was started during the release of â€?Jaane tu ya jaane na’ and has been continued for every other release like â€?God Tussi great ho’ and other upcoming releases. Apart from new tracks, we are also trying to revive our old archives,… states Bhanushali.
The music of Karzzz was launched on 25 August and the promotional activities have been carried out extensively since then. Lined up next is the music launch of Yuvraj on 1 October. Some of the other big music titles in the T-Series bag are Ghajjini, Chandni Chowk to China, Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D, Oye Lucky, lucky Oye, Delhi 6, Fashion, Wednesday, the Salman Khan starrer Main Aur Mrs Khanna, Ken Ghosh’s next with Shahid Kapoor, Vishal Bharadwaj’s film starring Shahid again, Aushutosh Gowariker’s next and Shoojit Sircar’s tentatively titled Shoe Bite.
Apart from this, T-Series is going to launch three non-film albums by the year end. We are launching another album by Tulsi Kumar to be composed by Monty Sharma. The lyrics have been penned by Sameer. The other albums lined up are by Neeraj Sridhar and composer singer Mithoon of â€?The Train’ fame….
This album by Neeraj Sridhar will be his comeback in the non-film category after a break of two years. The artist will also include a new version of Hare Krishna Hare Ram, the title track of â€?Bhool Bhulaiyya’ in the collection. It will consist of eight original tracks along with a couple of songs remixed by him. I took a lot of criticism with my remixes and I refuse to take it any further. I have already written lyrics for three songs and started recording them. This is the album where I get a chance to do it, says the vocalist,… says Neeraj Sridhar.
