MUMBAI: T-Series has acquired the music rights of Karan Johar’s forthcoming film, â€?Short Term Shaadi’.
For the first time ever T-Series and Dharma Productions have joined hands together. Prior to this, the music of Dharma Productions’ movies was released by Sony Music India.
T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar said, I have always loved the films made by Karan Johar, not only for their content and aesthetic appeal, but also for their beautiful music, which has always been their major strength. We are delighted to have acquired the music rights of Short Term Shaadi. And we hope that this is just the beginning of a long creative association….

Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shakun Batra, Short Term Shaadi is a romantic comedy starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor with Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani and Ram Kapoor among others.
According to T-Series, the company has obtained audio-video copyrights of over 40 forthcoming Hindi films and owns almost 40,000 audio and video titles.
