MUMBAI: Mumbai-based multilingual hip-hop collective Swadesi’s MC TodFod returns with a fiery and controversial take on the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. MC TodFod pulls no punches and leaves no stone unturned when asking uncomfortable questions about fear and paranoia as tools of social control.

The song is a sharp critique of capitalist agendas which leave the common, powerless and poor out to dry in times of crisis. The views are personal, controversial and not to everyone’s agreement, but what Swadesi intends to do is ask everyone to find their own truth and question everything.
