MUMBAI: Renowned singer Sunidhi Chauhan is very disappointed with the online leak of her latest dance track ‘I want Fakht you’ from Shirish Kunder’s upcoming film ‘Joker’. The song leaked just prior to the release date of its teaser.
When Radioandmusic.com contacted Chauhan, she stated that she is very disappointed over the entire song leak issue.
Expressing her unhappiness on twitter, the singer wrote, “@ShirishKunder@TheFarahKhan is this true??Our song from JOKER has been leaked? Can’t believe it..We just recorded those lines the other day:(,”

The song featuring Chitrangdha Singh was available on several websites and forums from Tuesday night. However, it is said to be the older version as music directors Vishal-Shekhar had changed the name of the song from ‘I want fakht you’ to ‘I want just you’ to avoid controversy.
Industry sources reveal that the leak was a promotional strategy by the filmmakers to gain more publicity, but the real reason is yet to be known. The song has become viral since the time it was posted online. Following the leak, Khan immediately released the trailer of the film on Wednesday night.
Kunder and Khan also expressed their anger via twitter. Khan tweeted, “What the **** !! just found out that our Joker song has bn leaked on You tube!! Will get a heart attack 2day 4 sure!!. We had changed the I want fakht u 2 I want Just you sometime ago! this is the old version thts leaked.”
The film starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles will release on 31 August across the county.
