MUMBAI: Sunidhi Chauhan has added one more feather to her hat. The songstress was awarded the Dada Saheb Phalke Award at a ceremony held at the Bhaidas Hall, Juhu, Mumbai on 30 April.
The 30 year old took to her twitter account and updated her fans about the same. Dressed in a lovely blue sari, the ‘Dhoom Machale’ singer tweeted, “Just received the most Prestigious Shri Dadasaheb Phalke Award.. Feel so honored and blessed! It’s all you people.. Thank you!”(sic)
The 195th Dada Saheb Phalke Awards were organised by Dada Saheb Phalke Aacdemy. Amitabh Bacchhan, Asha Bhosale and the late Yash Chopra are some of the past recipients of the award. Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra K. Shankar Narayanan was the chief guest of the event.
