MUMBAI: Touted to be Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture, the music of the forthcoming romantic film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ is the talk of town. After unveiling the first single ‘Challa’ across the web, lead actor Shah Rukh Khan released yet another track titled ‘Saans’.
Also present at the occasion was actress Katrina Kaif through video conferencing.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “This film is very soulful and is made in typical Yashji film depicting his style of beautifully expressing love. Each of his film has its own identity and pace. The songs also show that the film is about the intensity of love but made in a very contemporary style.”

The romantic ballad has been composed by Mozart of Madras AR Rahman, penned by renowned lyricist Gulzar and rendered by Shreya Ghoshal and Mohit Chauhan.
Reports state that the next single to be unveiled from the awaited romantic film will be ‘Ishq Shava’, a disco number sung by Shilpa Rao and Raghav Mathur. The track is picturised on Khan and Kaif partying at a London discotheque.
The album comprises of nine tracks including ‘Challa’, ‘Saans’ and a reprise by Ghoshal, ‘Ishq Shava’, ‘Heer’ a soft soulful number rendered by Harshdeep Kaur, ‘Jiya Re’ by Neeti Mohan, title track ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ rendered by Javed Ali and Shakthisree Gopalan, an instrumental ‘Ishq Dance’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ poem version penned by Aditya Chopra and narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. The music is available for download across platforms.
The romantic film directed by Yash Chopra, written and produced by Aditya Chopra features Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Kaif and SRK will be seen romancing each other for the first time on-screen and it also marks the first association of Rahman and Gulzar. Marking Yash Chopra’s comeback as a director after eight years, the film is slated to release on 13 November.
