MUMBAI: Music reality show Singer Superstar kick-started its first episode on 29 June with captains Sachin Valmiki, Nitin Kumar, Jyotica Tangri. Above them are judges Himmesh Reshammiya, Javed Ali and Alka Yagnik.
Each captain’s role is to guide the kids, motivate them and help them in giving their best. Captains Sachin Valmiki and Nitin Kumar recently revealed qualities they will be seeking in the contestants.
“Surat, natkhat, chulbulapan aur ek hoti hai maasomiyat,” Nitin Kumar said.

He further added, “These little buds are doing great. I would just tell them, ‘sing your heart out’.”
But, Sachin Valmiki considers himself a better captain than the rest as he proves it by telling us the reason.
Valmiki claimed, “I want my kids to have an emotion while singing the song. A song should be such that it touches your heart.”
“I have a good experience and have been a mentor and trained reality show contestants earlier. I would use these techniques to train the kids. I am the best as compared to other captains,” further added, a confident Valmiki.
In an exceeded chat, when we also asked both of them, which of the judges on the show, they look up to.
On this Nitin shared, “I like Javed Ali as his voice will just tug your heartstrings, while Valmiki mentioned, “I like all the judges, they are sweet and polite.”
