Sony Music Unlimited service goes live in Canada

MUMBAI: Sony Network entertainment has expanded its cloud-based digital music subscription service in the Canadian market, offering the users accessibility to music across the globe.

The ‘Music Unlimited’ service offers tracks from a library of 15 million licensed songs from independent labels and publishers worldwide.

Canadian users can access wide repertoire of songs on multiple devices like PlayStation 3, Android handsets, PCs, Sony BRAVIA HDTVs and Blu-ray Disc players Walkman through a single account on Music Unlimited. The service features Premium and Basic monthly subscription plans.

With the recent launch in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, the service will be now available in 14 countries including Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.

Sony Network Entertainment president Tim Schaaff said, “Today, Music Unlimited service reaches more countries than any other digital music subscription service, and we’ll continue to roll-out the service in new territories and add new features and devices.”
