Sony launches cloud-based digital service on Android

MUMBAI: Sony has introduced a cloud-based digital service â€?Music Unlimited’ powered by Qriocity App on the Android Market of US, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Music Unlimited allows users to access over seven million licensed songs from major record labels including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, EMI Music as well as independent labels and publishers worldwide.

Music Unlimited will be available on Sony Ericsson’s Xperia series, android-based mobile and Sony home entertainment devices like Bravia, HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Disc Home Theater systems.  This  service is also available on Sony’s gaming devices like PlayStation 3, PSP (PlayStation Portable) and VAIO.
