Mumbai : Sony BMG Music Entertainment launched the debut album of the band Agnee titled `Agnee` on 15th May in Mumbai.
The launch was unveiled by director Prakash Jha and the members of band Agnee, along with an enlivening live performance by the band.
The event witnessed the stars like Sandeep Chowta, Prakash Jha, Sandhya Mridul, Salim Suleiman, Mrinalini Sharma, Abhijeet Sawant, Chhaya Momaya, Sona Mohapatra and Rex D`souza.
Speaking to Radioandmusic.com, band Agnee shared, “The album Agnee contains feelings and sounds that every Indian will relate to the music and also enjoy it. The music and few traditional songs, Sadho re and Kabira are actually Kabir`s dohas. These songs give listeners a true essence of Indian heritage”
The album contains eight tracks that personify Band Agnee`s musical excellence. The album further comprises of a song which was the title track for MTV roadies.
The band Agnee comprised of three members, Arijit, Mohan and Koko. They have recently also composed the music for the upcoming film `Dil Dosti etc.` by Prakash Jha.
