MUMBAI: Music label Sony BMG and social networking site ibibo.com have taken their association a notch further with the launch of an application for soon-to-be-released movie Raaz – The Mystery Continues… (RTMC).
The RTMC application on ibibo offers for the first time in India an opportunity for the audiences to Karaoke to the tracks of the movie and sing straight from their mobiles. The film will release on 23 January 2009.
The application also treats users to the latest music of Raaz- The Mystery Continues and the haunting rifs of smash hit Maahi- the lead track, along with four other tracks. Users can register and sample exclusive RTMC videos, trailers, befriend the cast and crew, send exclusive RTMC eCards and eGifts to their ibibo friends.
The site also invites budding filmmakers and directors to upload two to three minute videos, shot on a handy cam, mobile camera or a digicam, based on a supernatural or freaky theme and get a chance to spend a day with the film’s director Mohit Suri and get to learn the art of film making.

ibiibo.com and Sony BMG recently announced a partnership that would roll out what is termed the first ever community voted compilation of the best of ‘Michael Jackson – King of Pop’.
The music album that will be in stores by January 2009 will be a special selection of Michael Jackson songs collectively voted by community members of the social networking site ibibo.com.
The community members with the most voted tracks will win prizes and get recognition on the web site.
