MUMBAI: Music Publishing company, Sony/ATV, has extended the agreement with ‘Wrecking Ball’ co-writer MoZella. The new long-term worldwide deal will cover the American songwriter and recording artist’s entire songwriting catalogue, alongside future works.
The career of 33- year old MoZella includes co-writing the global hit ‘Wrecking Ball’ by Miley Cyrus. She also has her songs in Madonna’s latest album ‘Rebel Heart’, Rihanna’s ‘Home’, One Direction’s ‘Four’ and Kelly Clarkson ‘Piece by Piece’.
MoZella said, “I’m so happy to be continuing with such a great publishing company as Sony/ATV. I have a fantastic team of people there working really hard on my behalf, including Rick, Jennifer and Jim Vellutato in the L.A. office, Brian Monaco doing synchs and, of course, Marty. Their support is priceless.”

MoZella also wrote with or for a number of other acts, including Echosmith, Mary Lambert, Tinashe, Pentatonix, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Band Perry, Labrinth, Leona Lewis, Miranada Cosgrove, Shontelle, Foxes, The Vamps, Jojo, American Idol finalist Haley Reinhart and The Voice U.S. season 5 winner Tessanne Chin. Her songs have been featured in TV series including ‘Fringe’, ‘The Closer’, ‘The City’, ‘Castle’, ‘The Hills’, ‘Bones’ and ‘One Tree Hill’ among many others.
