MUMBAI: The upcoming Asian Awards will get its doze of Indian Music as singer Sonu Niigaam has confirmed his attendence at the award ceremony to be held on 26 October in UK.
Niigaam will be one among the many well-known faces gracing the event.
“We are so thrilled Sonu Niigaam will be leading our entertainment. His pre-eminence as a popular Indian entertainer demonstrates the high quality of this great and unforgettable evening,” United Business Media (UBM) Awards managing director Caroline Jackson Levy said.
“Guests at this prestigious gala ceremony will witness the honouring of individuals in eleven categories including business, philanthropy, cinema, music and sport,” she further added.
The Asian Awards, in partnership with Lebara, is a new global event marking achievement and excellence by individuals born in or with direct family origin from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
The award is a partnership between United Business Media and Indian businessman Paul Sagoo, supports Save the Children as its official charity partner.
