MUMBAI: Bollywood Singer Sonu Niigaam has quit Twitter, one of the most popular social networking site among celebrities across the world.
Niigaam, who has 30352 followers wrote on his Twitter page, “Quitting twitter guys. Taking with me fond memories of the lovely interactions I had during this span. Thank you for following me. Bless you!”
The exact reason for his exit is not known, but it appeared that Niigaam was miffed with comments about his dressing sense made by a journalist from a reputed national newspaper

Probably, he regretted what he wrote in a fit of anger. “Guys, something has been eating at me. Need to confess. Felt that just because some people seemed to be getting too personal with me, I decided to give it back to them in a similar fashion. So the old Sonu Niigam resurfaced! He shouldn’t have! because he died a long time back,” he wrote later
Niigaam announced that he was quitting twitter soon afterwards. “Apologies to every soul whom I’ve hurt even if they wanted to hurt me, because it’s not the real me to hit back at them. Old habits die hard. Life is too short to love, and I don’t wanna waste it in giving power to negativity. I promise, this is the last anyone saw me this way. God Bless.”
The singer had posted 965 tweets after he joined Twitter.
