MUMBAI: Not long ago, Radioandmusic.com reported that music label T- Series, and singer Sonu Nigam finally buried their hatchet after close to two years. The two have now teamed up for a brand new single. Nigam’s latest track- ‘Aa Bhi Jaa’, which will be out on 8 November, is set to release under T-Series. The track, composed by Jeet Gannguli with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir, features Nigam and Amyra Dastur.
The video of the track has been directed by Anubhav Sinha, who Nigam has worked with in the past on albums like ‘Deewana’ (1999) and ‘Jaan’ (2000). The two last worked together in 2001 for another of Nigam’s albums- ‘Yaad’.
Shot in Kerala, the song will be like a short film, and T-Series head- Bhushan Kumar is confident that the audience will like the songs. “The three of us (Sonu, Anubhav and me) have worked together on several music albums in the past and I am quite excited with the end product. The song is so melodious and the way Anubhav has shot it as a short story is looking beautiful. Like we did a successful list of music videos previously, I hope this works wonder again,” he said.

Lyricist, Muntashir, while talking about the song said, “The track will make you laugh and cry at the same time and it has all the emotions.”
Earlier this year, T- Series launched Sonu Nigam’s father’s single called ‘Kya Batau’. Lately, T-Series has been more active in the non-film space, and has signed many artists under its label.
