MUMBAI: With the singing reality show- ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ Season Five almost on the verge of reaching its last leg, the grand finale has been scheduled for 21 March, 2015 at 8.00 p.m. on Zee TV. Singing stalwarts Shaan, Sonu Nigam and current host Aditya Narayan, will come together to co-host the final episode.
‘Abhi Mujh Mein Kahi’ singer Sonu Nigam will present a medley of his popular tracks along with the Li’l Champs contestants. Shaan and Narayan junior will share the mic for a performance of current chartbusters. Apart from captains- Monali Thakur and Shaan, and ‘mahaguru’ Alka Yagnik, the participants have been trained by some of Bollywood’s best music composers and singers, including Anu Malik, Pritam, Sajid-Wajid, Salim-Suleiman and Asha Bhosale.
Arunita Kanjilal and Aishwarya Saha, both from Kolkata, Keshav Tyohar from Patna, Ridham Kalyan from Punjab and Gagan Gaonkar from Udupi, Karnataka have paved their ways to the finale. The show scaled the length and breadth of the country, and 12 singers were chosen after a 13-week journey.
