MUMBAI: The gorgeous singer, Sona Mohaptra is always known as the person who voices her opinions eloquently. Be it raising her voice against violence against women or commenting on the statement made by Rahul Gandhi, Mohaptra expressing her opinion and puts it on the micro blogging site.
On her recent visit to Patiala for a gig, the sexy singer happened to visit Qila Mubarak, the place where Razia Sultan, the first woman from the Mughal era handled reins of Delhi from 1236 to May 1240. She loved her stay in the city but was heartbroken at the sight of the monument. She posted a picture of herself and tweeted, “Dear Patiala & Dear Thapar University , Can you find a way to restore the glory of the Qila Mubarak ? It’s crumbling in parts & it’s heartbreaking to see this. Such a glorious piece of architecture in any other part of the world would be pampered to bits & in turn would only help tourism See you all soon. Much love for all the love & your hospitality. Sona will be playing at IIM Ahmedabad on the 29 December 2013, revealed she in one of her tweets.
