MUMBAI: Group messaging and social network company SMS GupShup will announce the launch of a voice-based content card for the All World Gayatri Pariwar, a social reform organization with over 3000 centres across 80 countries, on Tuesday, 15th March, 2011. As part of Gayatri Pariwar’s Holi celebrations, this product will be formally launched by Dr. Pranav Pandya, Head of AWGP, on Saturday, 19th March, 2011 at Shanti Kunj in Haridwar. The function is expected to attract thousands of devotees.
The scratch card-based solution is targeted at the common man, and anyone who would like to receive a daily recorded message mobile phone in the original voice of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, founder of the All World Gayatri Pariwar. A user can buy and scratch the silver portion on the back of the card to reveal a unique code. The unique code is then sent as a text (SMS) message to a long code for the subscription to be activated. SMS Gupshup’s platform will then disseminate the content through an automated outbound dialer to all subscribers at a designated time every day.
