MUMBAI: Composer-producer Sid Paul is based in Mumbai. He has given music for various webseries and Ads. “Zindagi isi ka naam hai” campaign was based around celebrating the Samaritans of Covid-19 situation.
“’Zindagi isi ka naam hai’ was made for an Ad campaign which never took off. So, I decided to release the song independently as a single and start my Independent music journey. The song has a jazz swing style to it”, Sid shared.
“I felt a natural desire to express my gratitude through this song to not only the Samaritans during the lockdown, but also to every human who helps another person overcome their problems be it related to mental health or anything else”.

The song has been sung by Nikhil Shetty, a versatile singer who is also a Qyuki Artist with backing Vocals by Vanishree Sahu, a powerful vocalist who’s growing fast in the indie scene. The lyrics are written by Rishikesh Pathak, composed and produced by Sid Paul. Song has been mixed and mastered by Bhaskar Sarma at Emsquare Studios.
“My band brothers and fellow musicians Jignesh Patel and Omkar Salunkhe have arranged and produced the entire Rhythm section”, said Sid.
The track is a baby born during the lockdown and every department of the song was worked on in their respective homes.
