MUMBAI: Exploring the diverse culture of India through regional music, multi instrumentalist ShriLektric a.k.a Shri is all set to embark on a four-city tour from 24 May 2012 in India. The tour will span across Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune.
Speaking about the tour Shri said, “I am extremely excited to tour India as playing in front of a live audience gives me a high! I am sure we will rock each city!”
The tour will witness the singer performing with renowned artistes like Gayatri Iyer Ganjawalla on vocals and Finix Ramdas on violin. Shri will do a special collaboration with 16-year old beat boxing prodigy Raj Varma from Voctronica (India’s first all vocal beat boxing orchestra) and present a jugalbandi. Shri will join folk band Rajasthan Roots and headline the two-day music festival at the club ‘Oxygen and the Recycle Pub’ in Jaipur.
