MUMBAI: India’s biggest rap revolution, MTV Hustle is into its seventh week and witnessing a thrilling rap battle, as the fight between the contestants, is getting tougher and intense by the day. This week, to pump up the rap saga, popular Indian music director and record producer Shekhar Ravjiani made a starry appearance as the guest judge on the show. Welcomed by a loud cheer and warm applause, Shekhar gave a hit performance as the kick starter to the show.
On being a part of MTV Hustle as the guest judge, Shekhar commented, “I can’t express how happy I am to be a part of MTV Hustle. This is the biggest reality show, the only reality show, so it just feels great to be a part of this entire thing. Every week, these contestants write their own original songs and perform. I have not seen any other reality show, which comes out with original content like MTV Hustle. It’s unbelievable, with great talent, great mentors and a great team out here.” On being asked about the current rap evolution, Shekhar says, “People will now know rap is, after this show.”
The upcoming week of MTV Hustle will see some power-packed performances by the contestants, as well as by the judges. Singer and songwriter Rashmeet Kaur joins Raftaar and Nucleya to give a stellar performance, as Nucleya dons the hat of a DJ. Raja Kumari, who was joined by rapper Sharul, brings the house down with her electrifying gig.
