MUMBAI: The second week of Radio City`s themed based show Musical-E-Azam saw star singer Shankar Mahadevan as an RJ. Celebrtity RJ Mahadevan brought `dhamaal` for the listeners with five musical sensations Zakir Hussain, Ghulam Ali, Sonu Niigaam, Shaan, Ehsaan & Loy.
The show had loads of excitement as the first guest `tabla – maestro` Zakir Hussain told Shankar about his musical journey while Ghulam Ali shared notes on ghazals and shayariis. Radio City show Life ki Dhun host and RJ Mahadevan buddy Sonu Niigaam also spoke of his love for music as well as his new found love with radio, along with some of his fond memories. Thursday saw Sa Re Ga Ma Pa`s popular anchor Shaan take control in highlighting the role of music in his life. The week closed with Shankar joining Ehsaan and Loy to form the musical `trio` and give listeners a treat as they all came together for the show.
The first week of Musical-E-Azam saw Sunidhi Chauhan has and Celebrity RJ and the station has received fabulous response from the listeners with the increasing amount of call-ins and messages received by RJs during their programmes, says official release.
