MUMBAI: After setting a benchmark in bollywood music industry, renowned singer Shaan is now experimenting with his acting skills in Sunil Agnihotri’s upcoming movie ‘Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaye’.
Apart from Shaan, the movie will also see another singing sensation Mika testing his acting skills. For the first time, the duo will render a track together. Earlier, the duo shared the stage together in singing reality show ‘Music ka Maha Muqquabla’(2009). Produced under T-Series, the movie is scheduled to release by year-end.
Confirming the news with Radioandmusic.com in the midst of his hectic work schedule, Shaan said, “I always wanted to try my hands in acting and now I have got an opportunity. It is a light hearted movie and I am looking forward to it.” Currently, the singer was shooting in Gujarat for the same.
Apart from trying hands in acting, Shaan has also decided to hone his songwriting skills. He is looking forward to pen few songs for his upcoming untitled album. Recently, he penned lyrics for singer Babul Supriyo’s album which featured ace artistes like Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali and Neha Bhasin. Along with the lyrics, he had also sung the track ‘Shukriya’.
